Detlef Steinmann

Member of the Supervisory Board

Detlef Steinmann, born in 1961, is an industrial engineering graduate from Technische Hochschule Darmstadt. After his studies, he acquired management positions in several companies, such as E.on and Bilfinger Berger where he was in charge of corporate planning, controlling, and finances.

Since joining Hamburg-based investment company Capital Stage AG in the year 2000, Mr. Steinmann has been involved with private equity business. Renewable energy and above all solar power, has become his main focal point. As early as 2001, he initiated investment in Conergy AG, and has lead Conergy to its IPO as investment manager.

HToday, Mr. Steinmann is investment director at Capital Stage, where his professional focus continues to be in the solar sector.

ZIn addition to the aforementioned duties, Mr. Steinmann has been deputy chairman of the supervisory board of Profos AG, Regensburg, since 2004.
