Premiere at the Intersolar: Inventux presents Micromorph Thin Film Module
Munich, 12 June 2008. Inventux Technologies AG is presenting itself to a specialised public for the first time at the Intersolar 2008, showing their new micromorph solar module which above all excels in optimal energy yields.
The Berlin solar enterprise, which specialises in the development, production and marketing of thin film photovoltaic modules, is now presenting the ‘X120’, the first micromorph thin film photovoltaic module of its kind produced in Europe, at the leading fair in the field of solar energy. With a surface area of 1.4 square metres and a frameless glass/glass design, the module of the ‘X-Series-Micromorph’ is especially suitable for large, grid-connected photovoltaic systems at an excellent cost-benefit ratio.
The tandem cells consist of an amorphous and a microcrystalline silicon layer. At a performance of 120 watts and a stabilising efficiency rate of 8.6%, the modules absorb a particularly wide light spectrum, thus ensuring optimal energy yields. Narrow performance tolerances of +/- 3% guarantee the best possible system configuration without timeconsuming preliminary sorting.
The Inventux modules are produced in very modern, automated production plants. A consistently high product quality is assured through high technological and process competence in the cost-effective series production of the leading technological thin film modules.
About Inventux
Inventux Technologies AG is a solar enterprise specialising in the development, production and marketing of micromorph thin film solar modules. The aim of the firm, founded in 2007, is to become one of the worldwide leading suppliers of cost-effective thin film photovoltaic modules through growth-orientated series production.
The advantages of the thin film technology, compared to conventional, crystalline module technology, lie in the substantially reduced energy expenditure in production and in the higher potential for cost reduction. In addition, significantly smaller amounts of scarce solar silicon are needed to produce the micromorph thin film modules.
At the company headquarters in Berlin, Inventux has begun building a factory for the industrial series production of thin film solar modules. Inventux Technologies AG is one of the world’s largest newly founded enterprises in the rapidly growing solar field and currently employs approximately 75 employees.
