Inventux Installs Gas Farm
Berlin, April 25th 2008
On April 17th 2008, Linde Nippon Sanso GmbH installed a “gas farm” for Inventux Technologies AG at Marzahn, Berlin. It consists of four liquidous gas tanks plus one high-pressure gas tank, in which the gaseous chemicals required for production of Inventux’s solar modules – hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen and argon – will be stored.
Depending on the volume required, other gases will be stored in fixed containers on semitrailers or fixed bundles.
The two smallest gas tanks contain approx. 7,000 kg and 8,400 kg of liquid oxygen and argon, respectively, and both have a height of 7.20 meters.
The biggest tank is designed to contain gaseous hydrogen, standing at a height of 18 meters, and has a volume of 95 m³. It can tolerate an internal pressure of 45 bars.
Please, see the time-lapse film of the placement of the tanks which took only six hours.
