Roland Sillmann

Roland Sillmann (*1971) studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Applied Science Offenburg, Germany. Afterwards, he worked as a graduate engineer at the Institute for Solar Energy Research in Hameln, Germany, for five years. He was head of the certified testing laboratory of the respective institute and Associate Director of a study group for product and technology development. In 2001, he completed his masters studies in Business and Engineerig (MBE) at the renowned Steinbeis University, Berlin. From 2002 until 2007 he worked for Schüco International KG and was assigned Head of Solar Technology in 2004. As part of this position, he was a member of the Management Team Solar and was thus jointly responsible for the management of the Solar Department. In spring 2007, he founded the Inventux Technologies AG together with Volko Löwenstein, Christian Plesser and Oliver Rothe. In his function as CTO he is responsible for Research and Development, Product Technology and Production.
